LA BRENNE REGIONAL NATURAL PARK

La Brenne, a wild and mysterious land, is a Regional Natural Park but also an ornithological area of international importance. Country of a thousand ponds, it is 3000 ponds which cover the Brenne where 270 species of birds find refuge and food there. La Brenne is a haven of peace, secret and unknown. Located 15 km from La Roche-Posay, this wild and unspoilt territory can be explored by bike, on foot, on horseback or by canoe or accompanied by a nature guide.
